The Fortune Bay Expeditionary Team is a non-profit wilderness exploration group. The team is responsible for providing outdoor activities and education. Through its efforts as a non-profit organization the team hopes to increase the public's awareness of outdoor sports and activities and their impact on our lifestyle. The team is open for anyone who would like to become a member.
Throughout the year, the team plans and executes a variety of activities, blocks of instruction and expeditions in and around the Great Lakes. We invite the public to participate. Some activities are rigorous in nature, but the majority of the activities are suited for anyone at any skill level. (We just have a lot of fun, were not that tough.)
Activities supported by the team include hiking, kayaking, canoeing, snowshoeing, skiing, camping, adventure racing and recreation, sailing, mountain biking, rappelling, rock climbing, orienteering, and a wide variety of other outdoor activities that are done in Michigan, Canada, and the Great Lakes.
