
The Agawa Canyon Expedition returned from the Agawa Canyon in Ontario, Canada on September 14, 2003. The expedition was unsuccessful in achieving its primary objective - to find a Lost Bush Plane. The team was successful in its secondary objective of exploring the canyon area and discovering recreational and travel opportunities within the canyon area.

Note: Due to insufficient personnel, the team was unable to carry the needed
expedition equipment to the rumored crash site.
The team discovered over 5 unmapped trails, marked the location of an abandoned mine, and discovered many other unique features.
Conclusion: The Expeditionary Team must return to the canyon to map the trails and record other recreational opportunities.

Abandoned Mine Marked
The team entered
and marked an abandoned Uranium mine. The mines was formerly a tourist spot.
The team checked the stability of the mine. The mine entrance showed signs
of weakness. The team also discovered a moderate population
of bats have taken residence in the mine. BE CAREFUL of the structure and
to not disturb the caretakers.
